- SSI, or Supplemental Security Income, is similar to SSDI. It is granted to persons who have never worked, or they have not put enough money in the system from their pay to qualify for SSDI. These applicants have to meet specific income requirements in order to be approved.
- Compensation for disabled Veterans, or VA disability compensation, is a benefit for qualified military veterans who became disabled while they were on active duty and got injured or became ill. The amount of this benefit is determined by the number of dependents the veteran has and how severe the disability is.

I hired this firm because I had heard nothing but good things about them. However, in the past year I've talked to my attorney maybe a total of 10 minutes, everything I've called to talk to the attorney they gave me, there's always some excuse as to why he can't take my call, nd I've never not even once relieved a return phone call. And lastly, the thing I've really got an issue with, is the fact that I had already done all the leg work and information gathering for him, all he had to do is show up for court and represent me....he was in the same building as me that day, but he was not present during my hearing to do the job I hired him to do. Instead, I had some attorney represent me that I didn't know that received my file the morning of my hearing. I felt as if this stand in attorney didn't represent me to the best of his ability like he should have and was unsure of who he was really representing to be honest. Now I'm sure this can't be the case with everyone employed there, however I will not be sending any business their way. I am completely dissatisfied with their business.
